“Be Here Now”

Original art | Watercolor, Graphite, Ink

10 pieces, 10 poems, 10 offerings to quiet the noise

Behind the collection

I spent the last few years learning to move forward from the past, to move from the what if’s, the should have’s, the could’ve been’s, and to forgive and give love to the younger versions of myself..

I moved through the last few years transforming fear of uncertainty and the unknown into wonder, empowerment, and inner peace through radical self-compassion and intentional presence..

Be Here Now” is a collection that speaks to that healing journey.

The world can feel heavy at times. The wounds of the past etched in the fading scars.

There may be feargrief…an attachment for certain things not to change, attachment to the need for certainty.

With all the noise of what was and the what if’s, it can be so hard to find stillness. It can also be scary to be present…to face yourself and whatever arises when you finally pause.

But there is also an inner knowing. A quiet strength that emerges from trusting what is within.

Allow the brush strokes, the granules of the natural pigment, the movement of these paintings - all created in meditation - to offer calm to you. To help the noise of the past and the fears of the maybe’s and what if’s to settle like all the snow drifting to the bottom of a snow globe.

Let these paintings offer you the reminder that there is a clarity, resilience, beauty…peace deep within us that can emerge when we let the noise settle.

It starts with self-compassion. Self-love. Extending grace and forgiveness to our parts.

Let these paintings ground you to the peace that can be found in connection, love, and intentional presence.
